Mission and Core Values

The University Library provides quality resources and innovative services to stimulate creativity, intellectual curiosity, and to facilitate lifelong learning and research. The University Library augments excellence in academic and individual work, enables inquiry, encourages scholarly and moral integrity and respects for diverse points of view through user-centered services. Main core values are as follows:

Service: The Library provides user-centered, prompt, responsive, and friendly services, spaces, and robust collections for faculty, students and staff. Service: We strive to provide the very best ideas, people, facilities and technologies

Access: The Library provides unrestricted and clear access to all forms of information.

Learning: The Library educates and assists the users to identify, evaluate, and utilize information and its tools in their coursework, assignments, research, careers, and daily needs.

Collaboration: The Library actively seeks for partnership to improve service and increase access to information as we collaborate among library staff, university faculty, students and other libraries to pursue creative endeavors.
