Department of Dairy Microbiology at College of Dairy Science and Technology, LUVAS offers various courses for both undergraduate (B. Tech. in Dairy Technology) and postgraduate (M. Tech. in Dairy Microbiology) programmes. The major aim of the department is to empower as well as groom the students with latest knowledge and skills; so that they can prove themselves competent enough to establish in QA and/or R&D departments of the industries (dairy, food, pharmacy, etc.) or can achieve excellence in higher studies. The faculty of the department grooms students with best teaching; industrial visits and provides opportunity to interact with academicians and students at national and international level so that they can learn the current practical issues besides basic knowledge of the subject.
