The University Library was set up in 2011 after the Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences was established in 2010. The prime function of the library is to execute, enrich and support the educational program of the university. Since its inception, the library is serving to update the knowledge of teachers, scientists, students and staff members of the university to keep them informed about the field of their interest. The library has a unique collection of about 2350 hard bound books of various disciplines of veterinary and animal sciences and 694 e-books and e-journals of international and national repute. The library has led a vital role in the digitalization of Masters’ and Doctoral theses of different departments of the university.
