Establishment of “Pranvayu club” at LUVAS
The “Pranvayu club” LUVAS had been constituted and started functioning in Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS). The club has been constituted under the aegis of DSW-cum-EO, LUVAS and includes members from the faculty and students of constituent colleges of LUVAS vide notification no. DSW/2024/1031 dated 01-04-2024.
The club has comprehensive aim to raise awareness and sensitize each and every member of LUVAS family about making earth sustainable. The objective of the provide platform to make effort and raise awareness for using renewable sources of energy, reducing waste, recycling resources and planting trees in our surrounding areas including the new campus of LUVAS. the initiative of club is not only to inform and educate people about the mitigation steps that can be used to reduce the global warming but also to make the new LUVAS campus more greener and sustainable in term of natural recourses utilization. Emphasis on planting endangered species and medicinal plants will be given.
