Under Graduation

The department offers Veterinary and animal husbandry extension education course comprising of Unit I, Unit II, Unit III, Unit IV, Unit V, Unit VI, Unit VII, Unit VIII  and Unit IX  to 3rd year B.V.Sc. & A.H. students as per MSVE 2016 guidelines. The course is of 3+1 credit hours.

The department offers M.V.Sc., and Ph.D., in the field of Veterinary and animal husbandry extension education. The department is offering Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Veterinary and animal husbandry extension education. The postgraduate programmes in Veterinary and animal husbandry extension education focuses on Organisational management, Communication management, ICT, AV aids, Gender issues, Government policy,  Educational technology, Adoption and diffusion of technology studies. The courses helping in development of understanding of contemporary issues affecting livestock production systems in the state, factors affecting knowledge and attitude of farmers towards innovations, constraints affecting livestock development in general and adoption of scientific technologies in particular
