About Department

The Department of Dairy Technology was created in March 2022 and has got two separate UG and PG labs with all facilities to conduct practical as well as research in the field of spray drying, fermented and indigenous dairy products. Presently, department is carrying out research work on simultaneous lactose hydrolysed dahi and utilization of Fox nut in the preparation of traditional dairy products. This department has got ultra modern completely automatic spray drier and Rheometer along with other equipments required for research purpose. The department has got one Professor and two Assistant Professors. M. Tech program was started in this department from academic year 2020-21 with an intake capacity of three seats.
