The Haryana Veterinarian (Formerly "The Punjab Veterinarian") is a scientific journal devoted to Veterinary Profession. It is published bi-annually in the months of June and December. The Haryana Veterinarian publishes original articles in English pertaining to animal health, management and production. The articles are published as research and clinical articles and as short communications. Invited review articles are published from time to time. The journal accepts advertisements concerning scientific and veterinary instruments, drugs and chemicals, books and journals.
Aim and Scope
The Haryana Veterinarian aims to publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research articles that contribute significantly to the advancement of animal health, management, and production, providing a platform for veterinarians, researchers, and scientists to share their knowledge and expertise in various disciplines of veterinary science and animal husbandry, including veterinary anatomy, physiology, biotechnology, nutrition, livestock production management, animal genetics, livestock products technology, veterinary medicine, parasitology, pharmacology, public health, gynaecology, microbiology, pathology, and surgery. As a national peer-reviewed journal, it focuses on publishing research relevant to the Indian context, addressing veterinary needs and challenges in the region, while also considering articles of international significance. With a national scope, the journal contributes to the body of knowledge informing policy, practice, and research in veterinary science and animal husbandry at the national level, welcoming submissions from international authors and publishing articles with global relevance. The target audience includes veterinarians, researchers, scientists, policymakers, and students in veterinary science and animal husbandry, and the journal will be published biannually, maintaining high standards of editorial quality, peer review, and publication ethics.
